1. Contact

 

If you’re keen to have the Wild Urban Green team work our magic in your outdoor space, please contact us here or via Instagram. We’ll send you a questionnaire, and schedule a garden visit.

 

2. Garden consultation

 

We meet in your garden to discuss your vision and budget, and map, measure, and assess your outdoor space, existing vegetation, and soil condition. You have the opportunity to find out more about our services, ask questions, and decide whether you would like to proceed to the next stage.

 

3. Project proposal

 

Following acceptance of our services, we issue an invoice for the preparation of a project proposal*. Your project proposal includes a personalised concept design tailored for your space (taking into account aspect, soil condition, vegetation, and your vision), materials selection, plant suggestions, and a quote with itemised cost breakdown. Your proposal provides you with the flexibility to implement the project independently or engage the Wild Urban Green team to bring the concept design to life. If you decide to implement the design yourself, additional advice is available on a time cost basis.

4. Refinement & documentation

 

Once you decide you would like us to implement your project, we consult with you to finalise the design (up to two sets of revisions), material specifications and plant selection, and adjust your quote if necessary.

 

5. Implementation

 

A pre-works payment (50% of total project cost) confirms your acceptance of the final design and plant choices. We develop a suitable project timeline, in consultation with you. We get busy sourcing your plants and other materials, and commence onsite work.

 

6. Project completion

 

Once the project is completed, the final payment of outstanding project costs is due. We leave you with a customised care plan for your new garden.

A project proposal including a concept design, suggested materials, feature plant ideas, and an itemised costing can be provided for $1980-$2400 + GST, based on the size and scope of the project.

The cost of implementing a project depends on the scope of work and materials. As a guide, smaller gardens are usually within the $8-$20K range and larger gardens $15-$50K.
