As this front yard is for an active family, the garden was designed to provide easy access in and out of the property for kids, cars, and bikes, as well as a paved space that could accommodate a small table and chairs.

Our client has eclectic style and enjoys growing herbs and seasonal vegetables, so requested a mix of edible, raised beds, cottage / flowers, some ornamental and some natives. 

Above all, the garden was designed to be full of flowers and life, to engage passersby and the local community.
